Meet Sue Steiner, Equine and Animal Artist

Sue Steiner

I have always had a passion for rescue and animals.   It was a natural fit that I would paint animals and use that to fuel my passion for rescuing animals.  I have a number of my own rescue animals that you can read about here.   In an attempt to redirect my desire to keep taking in rescues I decided to develop Save A Face.  My primary rescue animal has been horses from the kill pen… its overwhelming how many nice horses are lost to slaughter every week.  I knew I took in what I could and also knew I needed to balance my work, family and animals.  What better way than to funnel the desire to help with creating animal art that helps rescues.

I also do commissioned pet portraits which is my main source of income for my business.   I have an art studio White Horse Studio in the arts district of downtown Canton, Ohio at 324 Cleveland Ave. NW Canton, Ohio 44703.  It is on the second floor of 2nd April Art Galerie .  I welcome visitors to my art studio.  I also can do ‘Artist Talks’ or a painting demo for groups.  You can contact me at artbysue@hotmail.com
